I Spy With My Little Eye....

Today I wanted to talk about my most used eye products
and do a little review on each. As you can see by the above
photo I don't use much. I am a creature of habit and when
I really enjoy something I usually stick with it for a while.

Urban Decay Naked 2: This was my very first "high end"
makeup product I've ever gotten. I believe I had received
this as a Christmas gift last year. It's still my first go
to shadow pallet. I just love nudes and that this pallet
gives you some shimmers and some mattes. I am missing
Blackout at the very end. It fell out and crumbled into
little pieces. :(

Smashbox Full Exposure: As you can see I have a little
sample size that I bought in Ulta about a month ago. It's
slowly turning into my most reached for pallet
but I do also like to mix it with some of the Naked 2
colors. The main reason why I reached for this
was because of how it offers the same exact shades
in shimmer and in matte. I would say some of the
shimmers are not very pigmented but if you mix them
with their matte counterparts then you get a really pretty
shade.

Buxom Cream Shadow: I  LOVE THIS! I use this all
over my lid pretty much every day. I have in the shade Mutt.
It's the perfect classic brown shimmer that looks so
great all over the lid. It doesn't crease or smudge and I
highly recommend this to anyone looking for a
good cream shadow.

Urban Decay Eyeshadow Primer Potion: I have used
many drugstore eye primers that just did not work
so I decided to spend a little bit more and try this.
I do not regret that decision! I really notice
a difference in my shadows when I don't use this
compared to when I do. They just stay put and last
all day with no smudging. This formula is so
light and easy to apply. I highly recommend this
to anyone looking for a good high end
eye primer.

Anastasia Brow Wiz: My eyebrows are horrid
little monsters. I can not seem to get them to
look remotely normal but this brow wiz really
helps tame them. It's duel ended with the
brow pencil on one end and a brow brush
on the other. It lasts all day and is very
easy to apply. Also, it doesn't leave
my eyebrows feeling waxy. That is a major
plus in my book.

Elf Liquid Eyeliner: Elf has such amazing products for
the price. This eye liner was only $2 and has worked
wonders for me. It's also very long lasting and is very
pigmented. I also love that it has a very long and narrow
applicator brush that helps making cat eye flicks
easy to apply.

Maybelline Eye Studio Gel Eyeliner: I like having this
gel liner in a different shade because it helps add that
extra something to a smokey eye. I mainly use
the gel liner when I feel like smudging rather
than having the harsh line of a liquid liner. I just use this
with a angled brush and sweep it on. It's very easy to apply
and is also very long lasting and feels quite light on the lid.

Maybelline The Falsies Volume Express Mascara:
This is been the only brand of mascara in my makeup
bag for, oh, since my freshman year of high school. (I'm now 22)
This is the most amazing mascara. It really lengthens my lashes and
builds them up and makes them look so flawless. My most
favorite part about this brand is the formula. It doesn't clump, or
dry out so your lashes feel like hard wires. It's easy to
take off even if it's waterproof and very easy
to build up. It's the best drugstore mascara
out there, in my opinion.

Let's talk about Lips!

I know, I know. It's been awhile. It's been...4 months... Sorry!! I've been MIA but for good reasons! A: I no longer have any laptops of my own. Both of mine decided to quit working in the same week! THE SAME WEEK! I was heart broken. Laptops don't grow on trees either so I haven't been able to replace them with anything. (I've got my fingers crossed for one from Santa) B: I've moved. Moving and blogging don't really go hand in hand sooo..that's my story and I'm sticking to it.

I've decided to do review's on all of my current products starting with my most used lip balms and lipsticks. Now I am not an expert on makeup especially lip products. I don't usually use a lot of lip things, in face, these are what I own in the lip department. Not a whole lot but it's (in my opinion) the essentials.

  • Maybelline New York Baby Lips with SPF 20
    • So this stuff is amazing. It's such a moisturizing lip balm that makes my lips feel so so good. I opted for the un-tinted but their are a lot of other tinted versions of this that I will be trying in the spring/summer months. The SPF is one thing that I can say has really helped my lips out. One downfall: I sometimes get that white line from using this but it's rare. It's just a sign that I have been applying way too much.
  • Revlon ColorBurst Balm Stain in Crush
    • I don't know if you can tell in the above picture but this lip crayon has gold flecks in it! GOLD FLECKS! It's so beautiful on my lips. I don't know if it's because of my very pale complexion or if I just have the right lip shape but dark colors just compliment me so well! I originally got this lip stain to slowly try out the dark berry look. I love this stuff! It's very moisturizing and because it's a stain it lasts all day!
  • Sugar Lips Fresh Tinted Lip Treatment
    • Wow. I feel like that's a good description. I love this moisturizer. This makes my lips feel so soft they don't even feel like my lips anymore! It's tinted, yes, but not so much where it looks like I have lipstick on. It's just that perfect tint that brings out your natural lip color. This also has an SPF of 15! Not as much as the Baby Lips but enough to readily protect your lips from that harsh, harsh sunshine.
  • Noyah Lipstick in Deeply in Mauve
    • I got this cute little sample in  my latest ipsy bag and holy crap do I love it! This is more of matte berry toned lipstick that really screams Fall! It's so nourishing that it almost feels like a lip balm but so pigmented that it definitely passes as a lipstick I have been wearing the heck out of this lipstick (as you can see by how messy it looks) and I am for sure going to be purchasing a full sized version of it soon! I love it!

LUSH

Hello bloggies,

It's time for Lush Haul! I am in now way bragging about my purchases today, I am just so excited about them and I wanted to share with all of you! Maybe this will help you choose a product from them if you go and get to overwhelmed and leave empty handed. I know I've done that a million times but I watched a Lush haul from one of my favorite YouTuber's and it really helped me choose my first items to try. Let's get started!

The Big Blue Bath Bomb:
I should start off by saying that I have never tried any of these bath bombs/ bubble bars I have purchased today. I wanted to get the ones I haven't tried yet so I could see what they were all like. I was drawn to this one by the bright color, largeness, and it's ocean theme! It's a big boy! The helpful clerk explained that this one helps when you're sore. It does something to your lactic acid in your muscles..and it also smells superb! Also, it has real bits of seaweed! Makes you really feel like you are bathing in the ocean.

The Dragon's Egg Bath Bomb:
Lush had just done a demonstration of this bath bomb a few minutes before I went in and the water in their bowl was absolutely beautiful! I cannot even explain to you how the water looked. It was a very vibrant orange with little bits of sparkle. It smelled amazing and felt so good on my skin when I dipped my hands in. For those of you who have never purchased from Lush I would recommend this one!

The Honey Bee Bath Bomb:
I decided to pick this one up because of the honey aspects. I particularly love the smell of honey and just imagined how lovely that would make my skin feel after soaking in it. I'm not sure how this will make my bath water look but I'm sure it will wonderful!

The Pink Bath Bomb:
I chose to get this little pink bomb because it claims to smell of vanilla and tonka bean. I have an old body spray from VS that smells like tonka bean and I just HAD to get this bomb. It's a bomb that leaves a long lasting scent so I would recommend this for a morning bathe so you can show off how yummy you smell for the rest of your day.

The Comforter Bubble Bar:
Last but not least, I got a bubble bar! I hadn't gotten one of these before either but who doesn't love bubbles in their bath? Lush has a lot to choose from but I didn't a little research and chose what seemed to be the most popular one. The Comforter has a lot of scents that is supposed to be very soothing and comfort you before you go to sleep for the evening. Plus, look how pretty it is!

I hope you enjoyed this post today! If you us Lush I would love to know what your favorites are! I'm always wanting to check out more of their items but just don't know enough about them yet. Don't forget to follow me on Bloblovin', share this with your friends, comment down below, and enjoy!

My Travel Essentials: Checked Luggage!

Hello Bloggies,

As you may remember from my past post I am going on about my travel essentials! It's summer/ travel season and some of you may want a little advice on what to take on trips with you. Now the way I pack may differ from how someone else may pack and that is perfectly fine! Just know that things will differ depending on where you are going and how long you will be gone. I will be talking about my checked luggage (the luggage that will be going under your seats in the plane) and some little bits of advice on what you should take along with you.

Clothing:
Most of my trips I take are back to Oregon to spend time with my family and friends during holidays. My advice is to pack a little bit of everything. Unless you are very organized and plan your trip with every detail noted, you never know what may happen. I like to pack at lease one pair of shorts, on pair of pants, and one pair of sweatpants/yoga pants. This ensures that I am ready for pretty much any type of weather. Same goes for tops: pack one sweater, one tank, a few dressy tops, a few casual tops. You just never know what you may want to wear for any type of occasion. One day you may be having a nice, casual BBQ with your family and maybe that night you'll be going out clubbing with a few close friends! It's just nice to have options in your wardrobe.

Shoes:
I feel like the same goes for shoes! Pack a variety! In this case I have some comfy Toms for days where I may be doing a lot of walking around and sight seeing, and then I have my flip-flops for those casual days of just lounging around. Obviously you can pack more than two pair of shoes, but be careful! Shoes can add weight to your luggage and you don't want to pay that extra fine for over-weight bags!

Hair Essentials:
I know most hotels/motels have things like shampoo and conditioner soap but I am never a fan of those little bottles so I like to pack my own shampoo/conditioner. I want to have good hair day when on vacation because I know lots of pictures will be taken. Other must have hair products that I pack along with me is my root booster, my heat protectant, hair spray,  my hair brush and comb, and my hair straightener. Notice I don't pack my hair dryer? Those are always provided at most hotels and are pretty much the same everywhere. I don't need that extra weight! Also, you have to have these items in your checked luggage because you are not allowed to have such large fluid ounces in your carry-on's. Thanks TSA!

Makeup:
I probably pack most of my makeup with me wherever I go. It's almost the same with my clothes; I want to have variety! You may never know what you're going to be up to and may want to have some options with your makeup. Maybe you're going to go to a nice dinner out and want to do a smokey eye? Or maybe you'll just be at the beach all day and only want to wear a nice BB cream with some SPF? Too much is better than too little! Once again, most of these have to go into the checked luggage because of their fluid ounces.

There you have it! My checked luggage essentials! As I said before, this can change from how long a vacation might be and where your vacation is located. This is just what I seem to pack 100% of the time and I thought I would share some packing advice that I have slowly learned over the years. If you have any advice that I didn't touch on please let me know in the comments! Tips that make traveling easier is greatly appreciated! Mid Week Music #1

Hello bloggies,

I have been in the hugest mood to blog but unsure of what to really talk about. I know I want to carry on with my Travel Essentials (look for that this weekend) but it means I would need to edit pictures- or take pictures- and with having a full time I only have time to do that on the weekends. So as I lay here on my bed, wine glass full of ice water in once hand and my phone playing Pandora in the other my handy little light bulb *DING* went off again. I'll do a mid-week little blog about my most listened to songs!! I am quite confident I can do this at least once a week because my music library is changing on a daily basis.

Here. We. Go.

TOP 5!

Quick disclaimer: I don't own the rights to any of these songs.

Where Did The Party Go? - Fall Out Boy
Rude- Magic
Girls/Girls/Boys- Panic! At the Disco (so sexy, omg)
How To Be A Heartbreaker- Marina and the Diamonds
Best Song Ever- One Direction

What have been your favorite songs of the week? I'm always looking for new bands to listen to! Let me know in the comments below so I can check them out!

My Travel Essentials: Carry-On's!

Hello Bloggies-

Since we're upon the summer months here in the US, a lot of us will be doing a lot of traveling and vacationing so I have taken it upon myself to let you know what my carry-on traveling essentials are! Now, I have never been on a flight longer than..oh..4 hours? If I had ever gone on a longer trip than I am sure my essentials would look somewhat different.

1: My cellphone! I cannot go anywhere without my cellphone. I currently have the Samsung Galaxy S5 and LOVE it! I do plan on doing a later blog post on a review of the phone in case any of you are more interested.

2: My ear buds. I am just using the ear buds that came with the phone and they are okay. I mainly like headphones over ear buds but I don't currently have a nice set of headphones so the little buds work just fine. I listen to a lot of music while in airports. It's jut a much better sound than listening to crying children and angry people arguing with everyone they come in contact with.

3: My wallet. Obviously one can't travel without their ID and some extra cash. I keep that in my wallet that was purchased for my one Christmas by my brother from Buckle. I'm not sure if that specific one can be found anymore since that was given to me a few years ago.

4: My Chromebook. I always pack some movies onto my Chromebook to watch on the plane. I have a slight fear of flying so I need something to distract me and lately just listening to music or reading something isn't enough of a distraction but watching a movie is! Most of my flights are the perfect time to watch a full movie and just sit and relax..as much as I can..

5: My notebook and pen. You never know when inspiration strikes so keeping a notebook with me at all times helps me remember all my ideas for blog posts. Yes, I have had random bursts of inspiration on a plane..

6: My shades. I always think that it's quite bright on planes and I seem to always sit by someone who has their window shade open even if the sun is shining right in their eyes. Plus, I like to be able to stare at people and study them without them knowing.

Well, there you have it! My carry-on travel essentials! Subscribe and watch for my next post on my checked luggage travel essentials. Remember to follow me on Bloglovin' and share with your friends!

What are your travel essentials? I'd love to know what you guys need on a plane.

June Favorites!

Hello bloggies,

It's July which means....*drum roll* JUNE FAVORITES!! *and the crowd goes wild!* I have had a fun June filled with some travel, some strife, but mostly, some shopping and with shopping comes some favorite items! Quick disclaimer: I am in no way trying to brag about what I have and not any type of expert on these items. I just simply love them and really wanted to share with all of you. Also, these aren't in any order. Right, lets get to it!

Anastasia Brow Wiz: I haven't had much luck with my brows lately until I was introduced to this amazing product! My favorite thing about the brow wiz is that it's double ended with the comb! It really helps tame my little brow hairs and get off the excess foundation. (sorry about the dirty comb!)

Maybelline Color Sensational Color Whisper Lipstick: I LOVE THIS!!! I have quite recently started wearing lipsticks and haven't really liked them much, but then I came across the color whisper's and it blew my mind. It's almost a cross between a lipstick and a lip butter. It doesn't feel heavy or sticky but has the pigment that I want. Also, it moisturizes. It's nice to wear something that you know is doing something good for my lips.

Essie Nail Polish in Fashion Playground: I have always been a major fan of Essie nail polishes to begin with and once I saw this mint color I was very happy! Favorite polish brand in my favorite color? Score! I usually only have to do 2 coats and it will last me a good week to a week and a half. Perfect!

CoverGirl Fresh Complexion Concealer: I change my concealers quite often mainly because they come in such small little tubes! They're easy to go through quickly. In June I decided to try the fresh complexion concealer and really enjoyed it! It made me look very awake even when I just barely rolled out of bed and put it on my dark circles. My favorite part is the little spongy applicator. It's kind of tipped so I can get into the grooves of my nose easily and the corners of my eyes.

Fakkai Essential Shea Riche Moisutue Masque: This is my deep conditioner for my hair and man- oh- man I could not live without it! This makes my hair feel so incredibly soft and smooth for days upon days! I do this about once a week and can really feel the silky softness for that entire time. Although one thing I don't enjoy is the scent. It's scented by jasmine and wild flowers and it's not my thing..but how it makes my hair feel makes up for that!

Pixi Glow Tonic: Guys, oh my god. This has got to be my all time favorite item I have ever used! I have never toned my skin before and have sure been missing out on the wonders of toning!! This glow tonic has made my skin feel so smooth and look so bright! It's quite amazing. I cannot even rave enough about this product and seriously, SERIOUSLY recommend this to everyone!

Purity by Philosophy:  As you can see by the half empty bottle, I really love this product. Purity is a face cleanser that is so gentle on my skin but really busts through even the thickest wall of makeup and melts it away.It has no exfoliation at all which makes it really helpful on days where my skin is feeling a little to sensitive for my normal exfoliate. Plus, it smells soooooo good.

Lastly, Orange is the New Black!! The second season came out the first week of June on Netflix and I binged watched the whole season and finished it in about a week...but it was so worth it! I don't want to explain the show too much with giving anything away to those of you who haven't seen it...It's mainly about the blonde woman, Chapman, going to an all women's prison and all the situations she gets herself into. It's funny and gritty and just plain good!

That's it for my June Favorites! I hope you all enjoyed seeing what I have been liking this last month! I would love to know what you have been liking so I may give it a try in July! Leave a comment down below with what you think I should try next and I will do my best to do so! Don't forget to follow me on Bloglovin' and share with your friends!!

Pinterest DIY #1: Thinking of You Card

Hello bloggies,

For those of you who follow me on Facebook, you will know that a few weeks ago I stated that I wanted to try something off my Pinterest each weekend. I failed at doing anything last weekend due to being a bit busy, but I have just tried something tonight and I wanted to share!

Recently I have become interested in making my own cards and have found that Pinterest is a really great place to find some card tutorials and general inspiration. I have been slowly collecting some materials to make the card with. My amazing mother even sent me a care package with a bunch of tools and things to help me get started. Also, before I dive too deeply into this post I want to apologize for the photo quality. I am taking all of pics with my phone because I let my boyfriend take my nice camera with him on vacation and he won't be back until Friday and I just didn't want to wait that long.

The header picture of my blog really shows my whole collection and I wanted to get a little bit more in depth to what I use.

These are just a few of the tool that I have. Scissors, and exact-o knife, some little wire cutters and pinchers, and some punches in cute designs.  I do have a larger pair of scissors but I couldn't find them ANYWHERE!

All of this ribbon was given to me by my mother in the care package she sent me a few months ago. I think she found most of them at Joanne's on their little clearance sections in the scrapbook areas they have. It's some seriously cute ribbon even if it was cheep!

This is just some decorative items I have. I have some tape with cute patterns on them, some little buttons and sparkles, some cute cut outs and, of course, little cards!

This is the paper that I have. I know it's not a huge collection but for what I'm using it for it does the job! I also have a large stack of plain colored construction paper but I didn't honestly think it was exciting enough for it's own picture.

Finally, my glue! I have tacky clue, some roll on sticky tape stuff, and a ruler! You can't really make cards and expect them to look nice and even without a ruler! Right?

Well, now that you have seen my little collection it's time for you to be apart of my card making process. I generally like to sit on Pinterest and look for some idea/inspiration on my Chromebook. Once I have found a card that I think I can do I get started by choosing my colors and patterns with my paper. I have chosen to with with pink, a pink floral, a wood pattern, and a pop of green decorative tape.

Doesn't that look so pretty together?? Next I cut out all of my pieces. For this card I decided to use the pink paper as the base of my card and kind of build up from their with the wood and floral paper. I also added a little bit of black paper to help add some drama and shading. The tools I used were my ruler, scissors, and a little pencil to help me with my straight lines. Then I just simply layed everything down to help eyeball where I want to glue my pieces.

My next step was to glue everything into place and add the cute little decorative tape to add that little pop of green.

I kind of wanted to stop here but then I thought that the card needed something else so I took my larger punch and punched out some pink flowers and but them in green tape just to break it up a bit.

Once I was happy with that I glued them down with tacky glue. Now because my printer is currently on the fritz I decided to hand write "Thinking of You" into the floral bit.

There you have it! My finished card!

I hope you enjoyed this post! It's a little bit different then what I have been blogging about but I think it's okay to branch out and talk about new things once in awhile. If you have any questions or just have something to say please leave a comment down below! Also, remember to follow me on Bloglovin'!

Life Update

Hello bloggies,

I'm sorry that I haven't posted anything in the last few weeks. I felt like I needed to explain but also do a little bit of venting as well. Not that I'm mad...just that I think writing about it may make me feel better? I'm not sure. This is an experiment..hopefully it doesn't make me feel worse.

I wanted to do just a quick update on what is going on in the land of Seri Sunshine. Last week I had the pleasure of flying back to my hometown in Oregon to participate in one of my best friend's wedding! I left early last Thursday and on my way to the Denver airport my car broke down...It was a mess. I immediately started having a panic attack and started crying and shaking and FREAKING out! The whole time I just kept thinking, "Oh my god, I'm going to miss my flight which means I am going to miss the wedding and throw off all of the plans for the night before the wedding and stress out the bride!" etc, etc. Then I call my mom, she calms me down and gets things situated for me. Well, I get everything set up to get my car off the side of the freeway but I still have no idea how I am going to get to the airport. By the grace of God a man who works at the airport pulls over and takes me the rest of the way and drops me off at my terminal (I need to send him a thank you card..)

Now, my trip home was nice and the wedding was absolutely amazing and I had a wonderful time but I couldn't help but stress out the whole time I was in Oregon because I kept wondering how I was going to get home and to work the next day. I had no idea what was wrong with my car other then the fact it wasn't working. I finally figure out how I am getting home from the airport and figure out a bus/train rout to get me to work...that helps relieve my stresses slightly. I was then able to get a towing company to tow it to a mechanics shop that is fairly close to my house and wait for the results. The really nice front desk lady calls me up later that day and tells me that my timer belt has broken. This is not good. Not only did my timer belt break but it also damaged other parts of my engine! So the lady talks me through the prices and it sounds like it's going to be $755 at the highest to get it fixed. Not too bad, right? It's not ideal but do-able. I give the to go-ahead and she says they will get started as soon as they can.

Well, this brings me to today. This morning I woke up and didn't feel quite right and about half way to work I puked at one of the train stations and had to go back home. Being sick! Yay! I didn't think that my luck could get any worse, except for that it did. The lady from the motor shop calls me and inform me that she miss quoted the original price and that it's going to be around $2,150!!?? WHAT?!? I don't have that kind of money!! *cue the next panic attack* At this point I just give up on life and call my parents. They kind of took it over for me and have chatted with the mechanic shop themselves and are helping me pay for things and pretty much say that I should start saving for a new car by next year because my current one isn't worth fixing again if it breaks down...

So, as you probably could guess, I have been a bit too stressed to do any blog postings lately. I am going to try my hardest to get one out by the end of the week but don't hold your breath for that.

Byeee.

My Tattoo: Owlfred!

Hi Bloggies!

I hope all of you are having a wonderful day! It is a wonderful, spring day here in Denver! The sun is shining, it's 70 degrees with a slight breeze and super lovely. I am out sitting next the pool in my little apartment area and was staring at my feet ( my toes are in desperate need of a pedicure) and was looking at my tattoo and went *lightbulb* I'LL DO A TATTOO BLOG POST!!! *ding* *ding* *ding*

So for those of you who follow me in twitter, tumblr, or instagram you know that I have gotten my little tattoo on my foot almost 2 years ago. It's the only one that I have. This is due to me being too scared to get another one and also if I ever wanted to get another one I'd want to be done by the same guy and he is located in Washington! So, quick background story on my tattoo: My best friend, Allie, lives in Washington and I went to visit her almost do years ago around this time of year. She had already planned on getting a tattoo while I was there and I was looking forward to it because I really wanted to see the process of getting one and what a tattoo parlor looked like and all that stuff. I did want to get my tattoo while I was in Washington but in the back of my mind I kept thinking I would just chicken out and wouldn't do it, but to my surprise, I did!  I brought the artists some pictures of what I wanted and he actually decided to sketch up a little cartoon looking owl for my foot and I just LOVED it!

The process of getting a tattoo is actually quite easier then what I had expected. I went in when they told me the appointment time would be . Then when it was time to take me back for my appointment they had me sign a little consent form and gave me instructions on how to take care of my fresh tattoo. After that I was seated in the little tattoo chair. Since I was getting one on the top of my foot I had to be up pretty high so I was sitting on what looked like a leather massage table. Everything was insanely clean (one of the most important things in my opinion) and the artist wore gloves and everything was wrapped to keep blood born pathogens from getting onto anything.

The next thing the artist did was press the sketch he did onto my foot for his outline.

He did the outline so, obviously, he could see what he needs to draw but to also make sure it's the size that I was happy with and the placement that I was happy with. I have him the go ahead and he started drawing. He kindly talked me through it, I think he could tell I was very nervous, and tried to explain what I was going to be feeling. He said it was like a pinch feeling but I honestly thought it felt like someone was slapping the top of my foot with a rubber band over and over and over. But, instead of that slap feeling lingering, the second he would lift the needle the pain would be gone. I'm sure the sensation is different for everyone and other areas of the body but that's how I can best describe how it felt on my foot. Also, before he really got going he did a quick little line to kind of prepare me for the feeling so I wouldn't jump and cause him to tattoo a scribble. :P

I would say, with my experience, the outlining was the most painful part. Especially when he got close to my pinky toe! Ouch! Although, the pain was never enough to cause me to cry or anything, just wince a few times. Once he got the shading it felt so much better. There will still bits that caused some wincing but not near as much. I just loved watching him do the shading because it brought all the life into the little owl.

Once he was done with the shading he did a little highlighting in the eyes and the feathers. I'm so happy he did that. It really looks like my little owl has a twinkle in his eyes!

And there is my finished owl! The whole process, start to finish, took about an hour and 20 minutes. I have since named him Owlfred. I thought that suited him perfectly! I could not be happier with how Owlfred turned out and almost cried because I was so happy. I was so worried that I was going to be one of those unlucky persons that get a horribly done tattoo, but I think it's far from horrible! It's perfect!

Taking care of a fresh tattoo is not a hard task. Before I left the artist put what he called a finishing cream all over and wrapped my foot in plastic to protect Owlfred from my flip-flops. To prevent super quick fading I was instructed to not wear any shoes besides sandals for at least 2 weeks and to not completely submerge my foot into water, especially chlorinated water for at least a week. Also, to help the healing process I was instructed to get some unscented, un-tinted lotion and to apply it to my foot at least twice a day. My tattoo is now happy, looking good, and still twinkling back to me every day!

If you have any questions about the process that I didn't already address please leave them in the comments below and I would love to answer you to the best of my abilities! Honestly, my best friend Allie would be better to ask since she has more tattoos than I do and is more wise! She has more tattoos in other areas of her body as well and I am sure she would love to answer any questions. You can find her on Tumblr and I will leave her info down below along with mine! I'm going to end this with some random pictures I took on my Washington trip and a picture of my bestie and I!
